Hong Kong Theme Park

See What You Want

Hong Kong is a small country, but there still have two funny theme parks to let you to enjoy it.
The first one is Ocean Park and the other one is Hong Kong Disneyland. Both of these theme parks are suitable for the young people or adult. Although you are an elderly people, you can just enjoy the panoramic view around you.

Ocean Park

Ocean Park was opened on 10 January 1977.of Hong Kong, it's occupied 17 hectares area. There have many different kind of thrill rides and museums here . I think that there have many things can represent the Ocean Park, like a cable car, because if you want to cross the other park of Ocean Park you have to through the cable car. And you can enjoy the view and take photo with your friends.
However, The Ocean Park is keep going to develop, they are providing different surprise to the tourist and local people. In 2009, The Ocean Express has been transporting the visitors between  the Summit and the Waterfront in 3 minutes. It can carrying 5000 people for each hour.If you have acrophobia The Ocean Express is very suitable for you and especially for me.

There have uncountable exciting thrill rides providing to you, if you can't put up with this excitement. You can choose to walk through the park. You can sightseeing another attractions like The Aquarium, Panda Village and Goldfish Treasures.
Furthermore, according to different season or festival they are providing different theme event.
Like Halloween they will build up many ghost houses and they will employ many people to make up like a ghost and walk around in the park. If you don't scare you can take photo with them.
The theme of summer is " Ocean Park Summer Splash", it's hold up around 2 months. There have a Rainforest inside and you can get wet inside. Help you to cool down your body in this hot weather.

I have been there before, it's really have a big change of the park . Because i haven't been there already five year. I want  to show you some photo took by me.These pandas is so cute their name called ' Ying Ying' and ' Lok Lok"
And i went to the The Aquarium, there have many different kind of fishes. I have never ever seem how many and huge fish before. It's amazing you can saw the fish they swam cross your head.

It's the outside of the The Aquarium, it's a nice view.

I think i cannot use any words to describe Ocean Park is a how awesome place.
You should be go there to experience . However if you decided to go to Ocean Park. I will give you some opinions.

Share some tips for you : I will suggest you can buy the ticket first through the internet, or the travel agency. Because if you buy the ticket when you just arrive to The Ocean Park, you may need to queue up to buy the ticket. So i prefer yon buy the ticket in the internet. If you don't have idea how to go there, i will recommend you by the MTR to the Admiralty station then change to the bus No.629 . However you may prepare some water , an umbrella and some snacks. Because there is a very popular theme park, when you want to play the games you may need to queue up in  a line and wait for a while. When you feel bored to queue up you can eat some snacks and you have an umbrella then Mr. Sun will not hurt your skin, just kidding. I advice you can plan the route in the Ocean Park, like you want to play which game first or you want to sightseeing, because they are still have different events in the park . You can check the schedule via the website of the Ocean Park, than you will not missing any excellent shows here. So I hope you can have fun in this park.

Hong Kong Disneyland

Hong Kong Disneyland was open on 12 September 2005. It's located in Penny's Bay, Lantau Island. There currently occupied 22.4 hectares and it still expanding more new areas. The capacity of the park is 34,000 daily. There have four different theme areas in the park.

It's Main Street, U.S.A., Fantasyland, Adventureland and Tomorrowland.
In here you can take many photo with many different carton characters. Like Winnie the Pooh, Mickey & Mouse etc.

There is very suitable for the children with their family to go, because there not mainly to play the thrill rides. You can see the parade in Disney on Parade and the firework on Fantasy in the Sky.

However, in the different theme area there have different attractions and entertainment to let you to enjoy it.Like Fantasyland, there have " The many Adventures of Winnie The Pooh" who is my favorite cartoon because he is so cute and gluttonous his outlook is so chubby, so i loved him.
And then "The Cinderella Carousel" is very attracted me to play ,do you know why,  i know that i am not a child anymore, but i still want to play Carousel. Because it's a part of my memory when i am child, I have a different with another children i have never played some so excited thrill rides.Because my healthy problem i cannot put up with this. So i just can play the Carousel or something not too stimulate game. Actually Disneyland also very suitable for me to go. Because all of the entertainment i can participate.

Finally i don't want to introduce all of you i want to let you go to explore it. Maybe let you to tell me how fun you get it in here later and share your feedback to me.

  1. Thanks for sharing ! What do you think of the new rides and attractions at Ocean Park which opened last year ? I have not yet been to Ocean Park since it was remodeled and would like some tips before I go with my kids (probably before school opens in September).
