Hong Kong have many different kind of museums.
Like art museum, history museum, etc.
I will going to introduce some special museums to you.
The Hong Kong Museum of History
This museum was built in July 1975.In the museum you can via different galleries to understand the history and culture of Hong Kong. There have over 70,000 items and over 14,000 historical photographs collected here.

Did you hear that " Cheung Chau Bun Festival" It's a very traditional festival in Cheung Chau. This festival was held on since 1978. Unfortunately, the bun scrambling cause the accident and over hundred of people got hurt. So government announced to stop this event. Until 2005 government decided to hold this event again. When the government decided to build up the bun mountain again , they were use the metal and steel to build up the structure of the bun mountain.
This event will start at the midnight of the festival day. People will climb to the bum mountain to get the bun, if they can get the bun in the higher of the mountain . It will represent that you can get more fortune, and the god will bless you. If you cannot get the bun you can buy some accessories like a bun.
The government will have a appropriate arrangement to help the people leave Cheung Chau when the end of the event. They will arrange the larger ship to help the people go back to the Hong Kong Island.

Hong Kong Museum of Coastal Defence
This museum located at Shau Kei Wan, it was built more than 100 years ago. Before to change to the museum, there is an important battlefield during the Battle for Hong Kong in 1941. There have three parts of the museum. First part is the reception area you can through the main entrance to the second part also is the core part of the museum. Redoubt is the core part of the museum. There are separated to two levels and you can find many different theme exhibition here. After that you can go to the Historical Trail. In this Trail you can find some interested thing, like old gun factory and 6 inch breech-loading gun.
This is a British 9 inch rifled muzzle-loading Mark I gun
It's weighed 12,200kg length 4 meters. It found in Admiralty Garden in 1990.
This is opium pipe and opium lamp it's for opium smoking.

Could you explain why people need to climb the bun tower just to get buns ? I've always wanted to watch this event but I heard it starts at midnight and it takes hours to get home since everyone queues at the same time for the boat return journey.
